Eledoisin is an undecapeptide of molluskorigin, belonging to the tachykinin family ofneuropeptides.
It was first isolated from the posteriorsalivary glands of two mollusk species Eledonemuschata and Eledone aldovandi, which belong to the octopod order of Cephalopoda.
